In 1966 my family moved to live and work in Acadia National Park. At that time I was engaged in a book about the park called "Maine Paradise", first published in 1972. During that time I was an avid photographer. My photographs, back then were analog, of course, and medium format. Because these photographs were very large slides, it was difficult or impossible to view them. So, for forty or fifty years until now, to my sorrow, they languished. I recently found a way to digitize them and will be sharing them, some for the first time, introducing the park the way it used to be fifty years ago.
